After a tough spring was it an amazing feeling to be back on the podium.
And to ensure my Hawaii qualification with a strong race and new marathon PB.
The race ended up as a duathlon, 6km run, 180km bike, 42km run (fun-fact incl the run in T1+T2 it gave us a 50k run day – you gotta love a challenge ;)) But it was a grat day in Hamburg with an amazing crowd support.
And like any other Ironman I have raced – it thought me a lot!
